About

As a child, Jenna watched her mother advocate for vulnerable women through the divorce process and learned the importance of empowering people to find their voices and allowing them to be heard.

Jenna obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English from Colgate University. Upon graduation, she did a 23-day mountaineering course in the Colorado Rockies, despite little experience in the wilderness and poorly broken-in boots. Jenna then headed out to Northern California to work in non-profits working with children before returning East to attend Boston University School of Law. Since graduating in 2002 with a Concentration in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Jenna first practiced law in Boston and then joined the Law Offices of Patrick Boatman, LLC in 2005. Jenna helps clients navigate their way through difficult situations and emerge stronger on the other side.

In addition to a general litigation practice representing individuals and businesses in varied disputes, tax appeals, and other appellate work, Jenna assists clients through the bankruptcy process and foreclosure defense. Situations can get emotional and Jenna works closely with her clients to work towards comprehensive and often creative solutions.

Jenna is licensed to practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and the District Courts of Connecticut and Massachusetts. She has tried cases to verdict and has argued multiple cases before the Connecticut Appellate Court. Jenna also has experience prosecuting bankruptcy appeals in the United States District Court, District of Connecticut. She is a Connecticut Super Lawyer in General Litigation from 2019 to the present. In 2013, she was appointed as a Committee Member of the Bench-Bar Foreclosure Committee, which makes recommendations to the Court as to best practices in foreclosure cases. She previously served as a volunteer attorney with Lawyers for Children America.

Jenna enjoys reading, being active, and spending time with her family.
